My leukemia's back.

I've got enough for about one more trip to the movies- unless my brother comes through with a gift card. He loves going to the movies and like my son will not go alone.

I used to go alone almost every Friday, and walk there (11 miles round trip in all kinds of weather) But, they just about stopped having morning shows, afternoon movies, I'd get out during rush hour. No thanks. Winter get too dark early also. :tongue

Sooooo

Chocolate!

:wee

Had a brownie tonight so I guess I had mine, never really gave it much thought got it earlier in the week with other foodstuffs.

Given the deer population around here and my 'old man' eyesight we go to a lot of matinees. This was a 1:30 show.

Sour remember it's better to be over the hill than under it...

I can't remember if it was the first Star Trek reboot or the grinch with Jim Carry was the last movie I saw in the theater, but those were the last 2 I saw in the theater, and I know those have been around for a few years. Loved the reboot as a sci-fi flick but hated it as a Trekkie, I understand the concept of a reboot from the beginning but the fact they completely re-wrote the character's backgrounds from before the timeline change they wrote irritated me. If they had kept to the original cannon to the point they "re-wrote" history, then I would have likely went to the theater for the nest movie(s). In essence what I guess I am saying if you tell me your going to mess with something but it's based on xyz either keep true to the original elements till you show the change or just go ahead and scrap the whole thing and start from a true scratch and not mix and match to have your jollies with.

Sour, they keep lights off at movie theater even before showing. The oldies (my brother included) need flashlights or lights on their phone to find their seating in the dark.
It's funny, wait till theater gets sued for people getting injured.

One time my brother had to go back out he lost his phone, when he came back into theater he was totally lost. Two nice women guided him to the correct row. Instead of being embarassed he was "jazzed," that two women were fussing over him.

Good morning Team Rachel.

I've contaminated all the adults in this household with whatever this bug is. Dh even apologized for making fun of me, and saying I was exaggerating. He's singing a whole different song now. It hit Dd too. She knew I was sick, but thought I was feeling it harder because of my immune system not being quite up to snuff. That theory is out the window too.
