My leukemia's back.

Good morning! and remember good is a state of mind, not dependent on physical condition! SIL has tests they all come back good, they think it's beat now it's the 6 month testing stuff all you folks understand about, BUT her father is in frail health and is in the hospital and has had an operation for gall stones, I doubt he will be with us more than 2 more years, maybe sooner, but as we know hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.

Good morning Team Rachel. I've had a very busy past couple of days. Dh's friends flew in for the air show. I got the house in good shape, so they could come over, if they wanted to, which involved vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general picking up. With the help of the kids (sarcasm) it took me all day, and I was sore when I got done. I was sitting down, enjoying a cup of coffee, when Dh called from the pub. Everyone was there. I was to get ready, and have my daughter drop me off there. She was on her own for supper with the kids, the dishwasher was cleaned out, and I did NOT want to come home to a sink full of dirty dishes. We all ate at the pub, and had a couple drinks. We were back home by 9:30 since everyone had to be up early the next morning. I have to admit that the two drinks, killed enough of the aches, and pains from all the work I did that day, I slept like a baby.

I woke up early the next morning, and did chores. Dh took off to the air show. Dd, and I picked the kids up from school, then headed straight for the air show. We walked for miles, looking at all the planes. The air shows were fantastic too. The reason we picked Wed. to take the kids, was that they had a night show. I'm so glad we caught the night show. It was the best part. We left the air show around 10:00. Lots of people were using golf carts to get around at the air show. I asked about being able to rent one. Nope, they only had scooter rental for handicapped people, but not golf cart rental. All those golf carts were either personally owned, or had been rented privately, and the rental company delivered them, then picked them up. Next year we will have a golf cart. I don't know if I'm going to buy one, or rent one, but we will have one.

It sounds like a nice time!

Ron, it really was a wonderful family day. It makes for good memories for the kids. To me the best part was the parasails at the night show. They were lit up so pretty, and looked like flowers. They danced, looped, spun like tops, and looked like they were jumping rope. It was beautiful.
That does sound like a very good show.

I'll just drop this off here. Our 2nd Great Grandchild was born this morning. She weighs 8lbs 1oz. View attachment 1725203 Just barely born here.

:hugs :hugs :hugs

It is colon cancer.

The huge tumor that was blocking everything was removed.

2 lymph nodes were found with cancer, they still haven't gotten the PET scan.
Al, my mom’s breast cancer was diagnosed after cancer was found in a lymph node. PET scan was clear. Praying for the same results for your BIL. Sure glad your kid is there to help.
