After the week I had I wasn't posting much because Room, someone would have borrowed your broom and inserted it in my ear, this is after all supposed to be family friendly and it's either my nose or ear that's as "friendly" as a response I can give... So we all have those weeks.

I can find room on the broom for your ear. Speaking of ears, I have big ones & you are welcome to vent to them at anytime! Hugs all around.

I take out my hearing aids when I am at a field trial. Seriously, just a bit ago I told the Princess, "I didn't hear 75% of what was said yesterday." Makes it far easier to tolerate human behavior.

I do something similar sometimes. When the kids get too loud, or Dh gets on his soap box about something, when I've had enough, I put on my wireless headphones. I can listen to my tv, or music throughout my home, and around most of the yard.

I posted here a while back that I had issues with some at a church along with the minister acting in an inappropriate manner, spoke with a friend who I thought was still going to church there, but he left a few months back as well over issues with the minister, I never told him who did what so this confirmed to me I wasn't wrong in my assessment that the guy was off in his behavior, my friend and son went to another church of the same denomination in the same area, and they are not 100% happy but happier than what they were. He also informed me that the minister was put on a 5 week sabbatical by the denomination for unknown reasons, but I know I never reported to them what happened to me, and the friend spoke to the minister about some issues and found out he keeps files on current and former members, which sounds very odd to me, like he's more of a narcissistic personality than I thought he possibly was. I hope they find a way to either get him to behave like a gentleman or retire him and force him into treatment for his issues. I truly feel as though he must have true mental health issues, I feel pity for him and his wife.
