My leukemia's back.

Yeah on really busy... And when I'm busy I kinda disappear.... But thousands I should let all you know. My hip is doing great.
Pretty much back to normal.... Gotta go till my garden I'll try and come back in a little while and catch up.... Thanks friends....
Nice Recovery Phil!

Been teasing a bit, but my appointment with the eye surgeon is June 10. My eye appointment a week or so ago didn’t go so well either. The cataract surgery doesn’t worry me - it’s almost routine anymore and millions are done every year. It’s trying to find the time with our schedule to squeeze in two separate surgery dates, and finding out there’s an increase in the size of the “dead zone” in my macular areas that worry me. Shoot, we’re only at home 6 days or so this month, not all at once, and one of those is now taken up with a trip to Billings to see the doctor. 73 days left....I can do 73 days, right?
Best wishes on the cataract surgery!

:fl

The eye surgery is pretty much a breeze. Don't sweat it, but don't put it off.

Let’s just hope he’s willing to wait until Ken’s year is done! I don’t think they’re that bad yet, so he may.

Yes you can! You've been through worse and came out OK :D

Could be I have, Bruce, but at the moment I don’t remember what! :lau

Best wishes on the cataract surgery!

:fl

Thanks. But I think it’ll be awhile yet. Is it okay if I save that and put it in my pocket until then? Can’t ever have to many, right? :love

79 days until cataract surgery!!!!

For you ? For me it was painless and basically uneventful. For some reason for about a month post surgery my vision in the operated eye was like looking through fog. If I had surgery scheduled on the second eye, I would have canceled. It was initially disconcerting, but eventually cleared up and vision in that eye is now great.

My pocket is getting full of wishes and positive thoughts. I’m not too concerned about the surgery, really. Seems half the people my age around here either have had or are scheduled to have it done. I don’t like being off my blood thinners for two weeks, but I had to do that for my endoscopy and survived. I don’t like finding a time t do it, either. Schedule balancing stinks. I’m hoping I don’t need my glasses anymore afterward but I’m realistic enough to know that that doesn’t always happen either. So it’s all good - just waiting until the consult to see what the surgeon says....and to find out if he’s a coffee drinker.
