My leukemia's back.

I too wish there was a lot less of the types of crimes that prevent children from being safe in their communities. Judges have become far too lax concerning things like that, and it shows. When I was growing up, a pervert would have been run out on a rail, or worse. It simply wasn't tolerated by law enforcement, or the people living in the community. While that may not be politically correct now, it sure was a lot safer for kids then.

On the news this morning was a story about a sexual predator being released from jail. He served his time and the state is placing him in a house in a residential area, right next to a single, working mom with 2 kids. The kids are old enough to stay home alone, but now with the sexual predator right next door - she does not know if she can continue working and leaving the kids alone ...

BTW, The Live Well, Vitamin D3 with K2 came in yesterday. I did a drop last night to test it. There is just a hint of mint. Just enough so you know there is mint in it, but it's not too strong, so it doesn't interfere with the flavor of something you're trying to eat, or drink a few minutes later. It's a clean taste. No undertaste, or aftertaste. When I got tired, I went to sleep. I woke rested, and refreshed. Because it's liquid, it seemed to act faster, taking effect more quickly than the pill form. It made a very good first impression. Thank you, Ron.

I was very pleased with it too!

And it lasts a very long time.

sour, You have perfect timing mentioning peaches. The Peach Truck will be at our Tractor Supply this afternoon from 2-3 pm. I'm getting peaches, and pecans. The Peach Truck comes from one of the best Peach orchards in Georgia. These are ripe, just picked, loaded on the trucks nightly, Georgia peaches. When I first looked at the prices, I thought it was a bit pricey, but when I considered how much they cost in the grocery store, they're pretty reasonable. It would cost me a whole lot more, in gas alone, to drive up there, and pick my own. It would be a lot more work too.

Al, these were loaded in the wee hours this morning. This evening they'll be sold out, return to Georgia, be reloaded, and sent out again on tomorrow's route. They don't do it all over the country, but just in the neighboring states, where it's only a few hours drive.
Yep... that right there makes it worth the money.

The ones in the grocery store will be nowhere near as good.

When I lived in Cheyenne, I got hooked up with a lady who sold fresh fruit and cheeses out of her garage. Her brother-in-law owned a semi and would bring fresh fruits from Washington and Idaho. The cheese was Tillamook, Oregon cheese - just as good as most Wisconsin cheeses, IMHO. I bought peaches, apples and cherries from her. they were all so fresh and delicious. That was when I started canning.
