I had cramps going to sleep last night, but I think I was so tired I slept right through them.

Power's still on today! Yippee, never thought I'd be so happy to do a load of laundry. And all the baby chicks are alive and well. We'll get the big brooder moved back to the barn today or tomorrow.

We were going to buy that sheet metal this am, but the seller sold it to someone else

. I'm bummed, he was selling for $1 a foot and it had never been used. I sure wish we'd been able to go get it yesterday, but now that ship has sailed. We need to do something to cover my breeding pens, they're just getting too wet. Maybe a better tarp as a temp thing until Honey can get the correct length of roofing metal.

Honey and I took some bowlers down to Medford for a tournament this am. We decided to stop by Food 4 Less, just to buy some cheese, you know. Well, they had $2 stickers all over the meat department, some packages had 2 stickers so $4 off. Most of those had a sell by date of tomorrow. So, now my outside refrigerator is full of meat (Thank God it's working, right?) that I'll cook or repackage and freeze tomorrow. 4 big packs of chicken thighs, 2 packs of burger, and 2 of the prettiest chuck roasts I've seen in a long while.

Hope you all are having a dryer day than we are here, someone needs to be having some sunshine!

I read that about the celery too, Suzie. But it's too much work to get up and put my teeth back in to eat it, so I stick to bananas!

Oh! That made me laugh out loud...I love bananas...but I have developed an allergy to them..if you want to see a cabaret...just give me a banana or pineapple...lips and tongue swelling...blisters and ....I'll stick to celery ...it is a nightmare to get out from between my teeth but I love it!

Mmmmmm...I do so love peanut butter...never considered eating it with celery...sounds a great combination...sadly I do not have any peanut butter here..gonna get that on my next list for a visitor from the UK...so..decisions...do I use crunchy or smoothe peanut butter...maybe I will try both...you have got me craving peanut butter now LG!
