My leukemia's back.

And we'll be sitting in a group right on your shoulder to make sure of it! Yep, like your son and grandson very much! Hard to tell from the photo who's more proud.....they both look pretty happy!

Mason is adopted...his real dad didn't want anything to do with him and wouldn't pay child support. So J.R.
Adopted him...you would never know it though....everyone tells them how much they look like each other...."you can tell who's son you are" :lau....and he idolizes J.R.

Sounds like you raised a good man, Phil. Congrats to you!

I can proudly say I raised three very upstanding adults....I never got one call from the school...or had any issues at all....and to this day I still don't know why....especially since we were teenage parents from seriously dysfunctional homes....my oldest boy writes me letters...the old fashioned way...I tear up every time....trust me I'm blessed in the kids department....I repeat I still don't know why....

Late to the thread today but want to say yeah, we know why Phil's kids turned out well.

Phil, take care of yourself and best wishes to everyone tomorrow with the new baby!

Blooie honestly we were great parents...people always complimented us on our children. But I can't say what it was that made it work so well. It was more than love...but that's the big one...I wasn't a strict parent. But I was stern..I asked my middle child Kirk once why they never got in trouble. He said something about respecting and not wanting to disappoint...either way yeah my kids were great....
