My leukemia's back.

Glad to be here indeed!

It was frozen this am when I went out to feed--yippee! I know most folks think that's weird, but at least my boots didn't get sucked off. Much easier to walk on lightly frozen ground than muddy muck. But, you have to remember the frozen chunks of mud sticking up have no give to them, so when you hit one with your foot while carrying a flake of hay, you're going to trip and fall down

. Thankfully said flake of hay kind of cushioned my landing. Roscoe came and sat beside me to be sure I was okay, and even my rooster Eric came over to see what was going on. He didn't like me on the ground at all, kept making distressed noises. Bless their hearts, the hens didn't even notice, except to come try to scratch through the hay.

So, animals fed, pills taken, working on my first Diet Coke of the day. The Locusts are still asleep. Stupid neighbors were shooting and setting off fireworks half the night

.

The sun is shining, hopefully it warms up some. need to find something for the boys to do outside.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy new year!
Rachel...that made me laugh out loud...I am always falling down due to my feet being painful and I have an unsteady gait...

One morning I was cleaning up the dog poop...one of the dogs jumped up at me and I lost my balance...try as I might...I could not get up...I shouted for my DH (he was still in bed);;;he looked out of the bedroom window..called out that he was on his way to help me...when he arrived my only concern was...where is the dog poop...? I was not concerned for my health...BUT was I wearing dog poop somewhere on my body? Luckily I escaped unpooped....

Wishing you and yours a very happy and healthy New Year...

As an aside...I do think of "Sean" as you called your donor....he is a life saver and I pray that one day you and he will meet and share great times together....I will be ever thankful that he gave us the opportunity to wish you everything and more than you could ever hope for in life...

You take care of yourself...you are accountable to your wonderful supporters here!

Love as always

Oh yeah, I'm fine. Suzie, glad I'm not the only klutz! As I'm down there, I'm thinking of course I don't have my phone, despite Honey buying me a case that will attach to my waist band since I often have no pockets. Thankfully I was okay, cause he'd never let me live that down.

I pulled Daffy out of her stall today and groomed her, even got a wild hair and fitted a bridle to her. boy, did she not like that! I don't think I'd put a bit on her for years anyway, I'd been using a hackamore on her. She chewed and mouthed and was generally an unhappy old lady. I'm thinking if I gradually start working with them each day, by the time things dry up (and we move

) they'll be settled down and ready to ride again. Amy especially is so buddy-sour, she got upset with me taking Daffy out of the stall. She was tied to the outside of the stall, in plain sight and even within reach, but Amy was still upset. That's going to have to stop for sure, but I can hardly blame her. They've not been separated for a good ten years or so.

Hi Phil & everyone!

We've been running errands and messing with the animals most the day. Hope everyone is having a good one!

Well we are about to join you all in the mud environment...rain predicted for the next ten days...the soil here is sandy and we are ankle deep in soggy mess...so I do understand abut the frozen terrain..so much better than wading through mud....anyone ever tried this for their complexion? Not me...too much chicken, duck and goose poop to apply to my facel

Try to stay warm and dry Suzie!

I've never tried the mud pack thing, but I bet there's some high priced spa somewhere that charges extra for the poo mud, lol!
