How did he like it?
Are fish easier to pull in when they are cold? or do they fight just as much as when they are warm?

yes they do fight as much or more. Most of the fish I fish for are cold water species. They Sean to thrive on the oxygen rich cold water early in ice season and when the ice starts to melt.
