Sorta like Rachel, I suppose. Good days and awful days, with very little mediocre in between. Homeschooling is going well and helps keep her occupied a little bit...the tutor the school district sent to work with her is awesome! Hardest thing for her to understand right now is that when they explained that she'd probably lose her hair, she didn't think they meant all of it. So there is a Baldathon going on in Sioux Falls tomorrow night - volunteer hair dressers are shaving heads and all the money goes to childhood cancer. Ascher is their sponsored child this time. List of people as long as your arm getting their heads shaved tomorrow, including Ash. She has little tufts here and there, so her daddy will go first, and then it's her turn to get the last of it gone. She's actually excited about that because she hates it like it is now. Tough enough for a grownup, but devastating for a little 6 year old girl. And they've been collecting hats for her - all kinds and colors! I sent her a couple too.
