My leukemia's back.

Something good happened to Ashley and her family today. Early this morning they left for Disney World in Orlando, thanks to the Make A Wish Foundation. What makes this extra special is that last week Ash's labs were finally good enough to have another lumbar puncture, intrathecal chemo, and an increase in her Methotrexate dose. She went from this last week:

So far Have lost 3 chicks this month... all tiny or needing intense care. We tried our best but a glad we are no longer on call 24/7!
Here's a couple of questions for you all.... When you buy chicks what do you transport them home in? Do you bring it or do they provide it? If you had to buy something to transport them home in, would you prefer a disposable cardboard or reusable plastic container? What price range would you pay for it? I am asking because I have an idea for chick transport but am just wondering what others do. Thanks for thinking and sharing!
OOHH! My legs are cramping! Need to get to bed....

Sorry about your legs. Cramps are no fun.

I've only bought a couple of chicks at a poultry swap. Brought my own cardboard box with clean shavings on the bottom, tossed it after I went over the chicks for mites/lice/dirt, etc.
