My leukemia's back.

It was the cyclosporine this time, not the prednisone. I don't know anything about tapering it, I just *gasp* followed the instructions they gave me. To the letter, believe it or not! It was to decrease by 25 mg every two weeks. Both care providers felt that was a slow taper. I think it's the same instructions they gave me last time I tried to taper this med. I'd made it down to 50 mg twice a day, now I'm going back up to 100 mg twice a day. Thing is, this med also causes me to be on potassium, magnesium, a muscle relaxer, antiviral, antibiotic, antifungal, diuretic, blood pressure med........yep, little pity party here.

Okay, I'm over it. Going to bed and snuggle with my honey.

Rachel now your in territory I'm not familiar with...I took that drug at first believe..... Under the name cellcept.... Why do they put you on that instead on Prednisone? Does it work better? Just curious..... I'm sorry for your issues.... No pity party.... Most people don't know what we've gone through just to be here.... And hopefully they never will.
Hope you feel better.... It's always a treat when I can get that occasional deep breath

Last night was night #3. Finally I got a raccoon. There are more, I'm sure of it. I will be sleeping lightly tonight and only sleeping a few hours. It's worth losing sleep to save the chickens. I had a terrible flock attack 2 years ago. The raccoons came back night after night. And took chicken after chicken. Ruthless they are.

Hbhoffman, it made it to Ohio. I've still not got a call.:th

In other news DD is out on summer break. She is super excited! I am too. Just wish I could spend more time with her. But, as always, time for me to go to work. You all have a great day!

JWB, good on getting the raccoon. Slept well last night and energy level is good.

Good morning Team!! Up, coffeed, vacuumed (who besides me vacuums and lightly mops the floors every day before 7:00 am?) and ready for the girls to get her. Katie's last day of school was yesterday, so technically Jenny's last day of work was yesterday too. (She's a cook in the middle/high school cafeteria) But today is clean-the-kitchen-of-all-food-products day in preparation for it being closed all summer so she still has to go in for a couple of hours this morning.

Hard to believe Kendra's surgery is in just a few more days....next Wednesday is S-day. Been looking forward to and dreading this for 2 years. <sigh>
