My leukemia's back.

Bunny, sorry to hear about your mom's arm. Your poor dad, coping with all the Wal-Mart craziness on top of your mother's accident!

Phil, I remember your posts about Matt. I'm sorry to hear he's passed, I know you'll miss him.

Sour, thanks for the info about Terry. I barely knew him but remember his interview and story about their son. Here's praying for a full recovery.

Phil, "they" wouldn't tell me the donor's name until a year after transplant. I couldn't have this nameless, faceless person doing this wonderful thing for me, so I called him Sean. Now I know it's Daniel.

Bunny, prayers for your mom and dad. Sometimes it's worse to be the spouse that isn't hurt, cause you have all the extra responsibilities you don't usually have. And no one wants to see their honey in pain.

Phil, so sorry you lost Matt. But, sounds like he's happier now, and I do believe Heaven has fishing. Jesus helped catch fish, it's Biblical

. Can't be Heaven without dogs and fishing.

I'm so upset about Terry. I mean, we weren't close or anything, but his interview was good, and I've always admired him for his down home style and approach. The world needs more folks like him and Em. I want to hop a plane and go feed for them or babysit or something.....just something. I firmly believe in the power of prayer, but sometimes you want to get more hand's on.

Hey Rachel......they didn't tell me my donors name till year 5.....then they just sent me a letter with his name and address......I sent him a thank you....but I guess it ended up being closer for me more than anything else.

I hope so too....there been a ton of drama in my life the last few days.
I haven't brought it to this thread.
This is Rachel's thread....hopefully it passes.
It is a wonderful day here in the U.P. today.....sun shining....Warm but not hot.....breezy.
I plan to cut the grass today.....and count my blessings.

Hey there Phil, hope things get better soon

Counting our blessings is a good thing to do every day, thanks for the reminder my friend!

I'm sorry, Phil. I remember reading about what a special friend Matt was. I'm sure he's found a lake up there and has a fishing spot reserved for the two of you. I'm also sure he's in no hurry to have you join him, so keep on taking care of yourself.

Sending prayers for Terry and for your mom, Bunny!

My sister bought one of those big backyard swimming pools for their grandkids and on Fathers' Day Linda and Russ's entire family was there. What a joy to see Ashley, looking strong and healthy, rough housing with her siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, Grampa and parents in that goofy pool! Nothing stopped her! She has two whole weeks before her next spinal tap and round of chemo, and she's living it to the hilt! The other kids don't handle her with kid gloves, either! So much fun to watch as she gives back as good as she gets!

Tomorrow we take Katie out to my brother Ron and sister Bev's farm for some horseback riding. Leaving here Friday morning heading to Cheyenne so Ken can attend a meeting on Saturday. Then Sunday we start for home with a stop at Register Cliffs and to see the Oregon Trail wagon ruts and the meadow where the pioneers rested for a week before taking on the next leg of their journies. Kenny and Jenny leave for Denver to have Kendra's in-dwelling catheter removed and her Stoma checked so we may well pass each other on I-25. Bug will stay with us until they get back on Tuesday. Then we rest up and get ready to leave on our cruise July 9th.

Other than that, my life is as boring as ever!
