My leukemia's back.

Morning all!

Outpost, glad to hear your rabbit found her way home. Maybe even brought home a "souvenir" from her adventure, lol.

Hope you all have a good day

Rachel, potatoes sound good to me.  :hugs

With gravy, right???

I'm home, got dishes done, dinner fixed, crates assembled and birds sorted and loaded. Then crate Tetris trying to get them all to fit in the bed of the truck. I'm tired. Talk to you all tomorrow after the sale.

Hi guys! Sorry, my schedule hasn't really let up... school and work started back to its normal schedule.

Matching socks?? Really? Mine just look at me in disbelief when I say they should match. I no longer match for anyone but me. Lol.
Phil, was reminded to pray for you as my allergies were so bad from ragweed this year I felt like I couldn't breathe. Almost went in to see my new primary, but decided not to based on the last 2 times I went in they a. wanted to admit me and b. nearly killed me with meds that I am allergic to. Any how, please take the time to lose the weight. If they are saying it will reverse it, do everything you can to do that. There are worse things to be sick with, but if you don't have to be, then why be?

Glad to see everyone posting!

Pray for my Aspie guy! He was working and very happy about working at the garden place. He LOVED going!! Today his boss blew up again, cursed at him, was threatening towards him scaring my guy to bits, and told him to leave. It started out as a word that my son didn't understand so he asked him to repeat it several times. The guy who is an ESOL speaker got really angry called him lots of horrible things and threw him off the property. The whole thing left him in tears. In talking with me my guy admitted to being wrong because when he was gathering his things to leave, his boss slammed his hand down on the counter in a threatening way terrifying my son, my son took a fighting posture and said if you hit me I will take you out, you *&(#@. Up to that point he said he was calm and said he wasn't trying to make him mad, was't doing anything wrong and telling him to please calm down. Evidently his boss uses horrible language, teases him in wrong ways, & has strong emotions. But my son really loves the place and was willing to go despite the issues. So pray we can find him a new placement that allows him to use his skills, is happy at, with a good boss that understands how to utilize his strengths, an people who will stick up for him. So sad. He finally had a good schedule, earning a little $, was enjoying his days, etc. It broke my heart to see him crying. The comfort is that God loves him more than I do and hears his cries. May the answer be quick for him getting another job that he can love going to.
Crazy as this seems, I am taking 2 classes- a Community bible study with other moms with special needs kids, and Financial Peace University. Both are life giving! Now to figure out how to join the checking accounts and put us on a budget- which hasn't truly happened in years as we have always had separate accounts for very good reasons! I hate doing the number crunching and dh has his own "system" but I think we need to get it together financially. I did manage to save my first $1,000 for an emergency fund. And then the frig. stopped working! I thought "Oh, great! There it goes!!". But then cleaned the coils, and we flipped the breaker box and now it seems to be working after 3 days of barely working. Phew! Really didn't want to use the emergency fund do soon especially as I think my transmission is starting to go on my 2003 Odyssey at 250,000 miles.
Sorry about your pullet, Outpost! And if I ever come up your way, I'm going to steal Hollywood back! My Bielefelder rooster will need a mate soon!

Do love the Bielfelders! They are dual purpose, friendly, non-aggressive roosters, quiet hens, easily handled, good consistent layers of very large brown eggs.
Thankfully we now have a CCL Trio! So maybe in the late winter I can hatch out some CCL chicks to sell for the spring swap. So maybe in the late winter I can hatch out some CCL chicks to sell. On another note the CCL hens just started laying... just in time for them to slow down/stop for winter!

Thinking of you if if I'm not posting much.

@hbhoffman. Super unfair work treatment. Sounds like he should be job hunting and never look back. That boss is terrible. Can son go to HR? Or better business bureau? Somewhere? I just feel so bad for you and son. :hugs. Hang in there. You are always busier than a bee! Hollywood is doing great by the way. She is the most loving chicken I've ever seen. Always at your feet and rubbing against our legs. She thinks she is a cat or something :D

@sourland. Glad you are doing good. I noticed your absence and was worried. Prayed for you too.

Our weed eater and push mower are broke. :th. All weed and trimming has to be done by hand until I can fix, or replace them. Thankfully we have a zero turn for the bulk of it. But my arms and hands are covered in poison ivy. Itch, itch, itch. Driving me crazy :barnie

@LittleLakePhil. I ended up walking at least 1\2 mile everyday except one this week! And I did Zumba 5 out of 7 days. Not weighing myself, just keep working on it. :D

You all have a great weekend!

.

Any possibility of talking to the owner? This 'boss' needs to be called on his behavior.

Hey guys.... I hate seeing so much struggle in so many lives.
But we must get up every day and deal with what is laid out in front of us.
I have one advantage as I can pretty much fix anything. So for me a broken weedeater isn't a big deal.
You all stick with your programs.... It'll all work out that I am sure of... We are all equal in the end.
