My leukemia's back.

And more good news....I have neutrophils finally!

My "get out of jail free" card is a neutrophil count of 500. So far, with the chemo, I was at zero, there was nothing to even be able to measure. Today was the first day they could get a count on them, I'm at 30!! Once I reach 500 I'm considered safe enough to go home, although still not out with the people (or the chickens

), but I can be home with my family....I finally feel there's an end in sight. The count can go up and down some over the next week plus, but I know I'm going home sometime

George--it does make me wonder if all my matches are redheads

Praise God! May he bless you with a steady and abundant increase of your Neutrophil count, so you can be reunited with your family. May he also bless your family with good health, keep all of the minor and not so minor diseases out of your home while you continue to regain your whole health.

Well, the neutrophils are being flirty--none to count on Monday, today down to 10

. However, if you go on the theory your body makes things like that while you sleep, I should have a big bump tomorrow....they gave me benadryl before my platelet transfusion this morning, I woke up for good around noon

. so we'll see if the extra sleep helps--if so, I'll be sleeping for the next few days so I can get out of here!

Keeping fingers crossed for you donrae! (Even though that makes it really hard to type, lol)

Well, sheesh! It only takes two fingers to cross.....how many fingers do you need for typing anyway? <ducking>

You have a point Blooie, I do just need two for crossing. And I could type with just two fingers too...that leaves six fingers taking up space (maybe they could take up knitting?).
