Lol. Great photo and so true!! It does work for me bcs then I don't smell it when swallowing it. I hope that your sense of smell returns to more normal in the days to come or that they change the pills to something else.
Spring is here! The crocus that normally bloom for spring in February finally grew and have bloomed this week! Hope your soul is blooming Rachel despite the circumstances and that you get discharged today. Take a picture of you leaving and put it up in the hotel room. It is one step further in this journey.

Good morning, Rachel and of course, Team Rachel!

Here's hoping today sees you out of the hospital and into that motel room! It's all about baby steps at this point, and we'll take every baby step you are blessed with!

Morning all,

Things are on track to discharge this afternoon! We can't check into the motel until 3 pm, so it's just kind of hanging out in the hospital for the day. Last minute education on meds and insulin, things like that. It's a grey day in Portland but the sun's breaking through a bit here and there. I'm going to sleep in a real bed tonight!!!!! It's been over a month, let me tell you that's way long enough. I thought they did studies on sleep deprivation, I sure feel like I could qualify! Looking forward to seeing my guys again next week during spring break, not sure what the boys are going to do in the motel but I'm thinking as long as they have wi-fi they'll be okay

Even limited freedom is - well - freedom! Movement in the right direction!

But oohhhh - teenagers unplugged. Now, that sounds like a life-threatening situation.

Good thing the motel has wi-fi.
