My leukemia's back.

Good morning everyone,

Cooler temperatures here this morning at 63 degrees. Might be about time to bring out the flannel pj's. No rain in sight for the next several days so DH will be able to burn some of the old yard and garden stuff laying around in moldering piles. The chickens have been enjoying the cooler weather for sure. I'm going to make them up some flock block to enjoy and a bit of a treat especially for those that are molting.

Hope you all have a great day!

Cold enough for my hands to hurt ----------------- more than usual.

Soggy and 70's here.

Well, Sour, I reckon we got our croquet mallet, didn't we? Though it looks like the folks in South Carolina are paying a price for swinging it. We got a ridiculous amount of rain (at least 7") on Friday. Saturday was partly sunny for us, with only quick, passing showers, though there was a plume of moisture coming off the ocean down near Charleston pretty much all day. Today, the fire hose seems to be trained on Myrtle Beach, and we are getting a bit more in the way of showers. Joaquin is pretty much due east of us right now; the rain train is part of the system that kept him well off shore. So very wet and breezy, some flooding and the odd downed tree, but it could have been so much worse . . . ..

@Bunnylady glad to hear it wasn't any worse for you (although 7" of rain is enough for anyone).

I was texting my son and sending him pictures from the nursery and his dad washing the dog. He replied back 'I am so glad you all are staying warm."
I am all 'Oh no! are you you cold?. do you need to go get gloves and mittens?, how cold is it?"
His replay: Mid sixties.

But apparently it is a cold rainy mid sixties.

Sorry, Eggsy, he doesn't know cold yet. Wait until January.

My kid went to Un. of Michigan. The temperatures weren't so different from what he was used to but the snow, wow. At first it was kind of fun...at first.
