My leukemia's back.

They look like happy ducks. Hope they weren't too disappointed there wasn't a movie to go along with the popcorn, lol!

Morning all

Things going well here. not feeling as much effects from the prednisone as I was afraid of, so that's good. It does seem to be helping the lungs, the mouth not so much. We'll see how the liver's doing later this week.

Today I'm going to type up some info sheets on the birds I'm sending to the swap, for the seller to hang on their cages. I'm so excited to get some pens cleared out, and who knows what I may bring home from the swap

. I'm letting go of the splash Ameraucana rooster and am thinking to try a blue instead. I'm hoping the blue x black may make a "stronger" blue chick, with a more visible headspot. Or, I may just give up on the blue sex links altogether and go with a black rooster. They'll be both at the swap, so I'll just see who is the nicer looking guy and go from there.

Hey there sourland, about time you showed up! You were late for seeing the geese eat popcorn, lol.

Morning all! You guys getting a late start this morning? Rachel, every bit of good news just makes me grin all over!

I've got my bed made, second load of laundry running, chickens fed and watered, first eggs brought it, Kendra cathed and dressed, and the floors done. Of course, I do the floors every single morning no later than 6:45 am, because Kendra gets here shortly after that. Since she spends so much time crawling on the floor or falling on her little hiney if she tries to walk, I am overly cautious when it comes to the floors. Oh, and I got last night's dishes done. Made me some eggs last night

and by the time I was done all I had energy for was rinsing everything and dealing with it later - as in today. Tell me, why does morning always seem to interrupt a good night's sleep?

You at least get things completed. I found the perfect description of me:

I started putting away the dry goods ...and decided I could not do that again without organizing the pantry, and when I decided to move something to the cabinet.... I decided,' this is a mess' and started on it... I still have to put away the groceries.

But I need a cup of tea and an apple now.
