Little lake is actually pretty big...which always made me wonder why they called it little lake.....The town however had two buildings.....of course
Two bars (well one is actually the American Legion hall). The other is a store, bar and post office under one roof technically.

Phil, they haven't specified chicken pox, but to me it's included among "sick people". They're talking about starting my immunizations, I have to get all my shots again. I had a bad reaction to the MMR when I was little, and again in high school, so I'll have to talk to them about that one. I don't know how the new immune system would react, would it give me the same symptoms I had before?

We got all the Dark Cornish, the barred Hollands, the Olive Egger cockerels and some blue egger cockerels crated up to go to the swap on Saturday. The vendor is driving up tomorrow. I hope they sell well, I really don't want any of those birds coming home. I wish I'd weighed the Dark Cornish, they were some dense, hefty birds.

Rachel, good luck with the auction tomorrow. Sounds like you have a nice mix of birds going. That's interesting that you have to get immunized all over again...until you two started talking about it, I hadn't known that had to be done.

Rachel....I actually woke up thinking about this...things with a stem cell transplant may be different as far as immunizations go. I just know I cannot get any live vaccine type vaccinations.
Trust me I wish I could. Also in my case they didn't at the time anyway wether or not any of my donors immunity transferred and at this point I really don't care anymore. Just hang in there because like I say eventually it'll all be a memory and you will get on with your life.
However I have a duck question...snowball(my girl duck) lasted a super big egg for some reason.
Is that common or normal? Her other eggs have all been the size of a chicken egg.
