to Suzie. I'm sorry you're going through so much recently. I totally understand the "dig a hole and pull it in over you" mindset, you get to a point where you literally just want to curl up and not deal. And that's okay to do.....for a while. Then, apparently, we're compelled to re-join the living, bruised and battered as we are we need others to help us heal.


When I planned to process a bird tomorrow, I didn't realize the boys didn't have school. I'm not sure if I'm going to proceed or not. I'd had it in my mind to be here alone, but maybe having someone around isn't a bad idea if I'm working with knives

. The weather today was beautiful, so I'll just play it by ear tomorrow. I also have a doctor's appt mid morning, so we'll just see. I do have my prospect all picked out, though, he's a pretty splash boy who has started crowing---time to go!

The boys have several items they want to get listed on CL tomorrow, and I've got some chicks to sell, so we'll spend some time getting things together and taking pictures, etc.

Would someone be willing to pray? We just got the bad news the my DD's heart stats have tripled in the last year and a half. We will be scheduling a heart cath to see what's going on and then possible artificial mitral valve replacement surgery. That side of the heart isn't growing as much as the other side and the ventricle side has a lot of fluid sloshing around which back washes. All of his means comprised lungs and infesctions leading to possible permanent lung damage. Almost cried on the way home and just wanted to leave this world. She has already had so many heart surgeries! I say this because you all know(!) what this is like to go thru on a daily basis. We also likely need a miracle in terms of getting the last bill paid off before walking into those doors again.

Heavenly Father, we ask your blessings on this precious one. Touch her and heal her heart. Guide her medical team through her procedures, give them steady hands and good decision making skills. Strengthen her system to withstand the treatments ahead. Wrap her momma in Your arms and give her strength also. Give them peace with their finances. Surround them with loving, supportive people. I ask this in your Son's Name.

Father, we collectively lift this precious child up to you. We ask that you care for her as only you can. Touch her with your healing hand. Guide the hands and minds of her medical team. Please surround this entire family with your loving arms. Give them the peace that passes all understanding. Please call your people to surround them and lift them up, and meet their physical and emotional and spiritual needs. Please protect her from further heart damage, protect her from infection, and I ask that you perform a miracle, and give her improvement in her heart function. I lay these requests at your feet, and pray in the name of Jesus, the one mediator between man and God, knowing that where two or more are gathered in your name, you are in our midst.
