A sit in sounds good. Me and NFC...we could bring the deviled eggs as we are celebrating deviled egg day a day late!

Rachel, that's just plain crazy. Maybe you could just take a sleeping bag, dinner and a good book and camp out in the doctor's office until they take care of your refill.
....or I could just go beat 'em up for ya - that'll get 'em moving!
In addition to the sit in, I suggest that we each bring our biggest, meanest, baddest rooster (and if we don't have one, borrow one... we all have connections, right?) and turn them loose in the Dr's reception area.A sit in sounds good. It takes diligence to deal with a Dr's office that does not meet the needs of the patient adequately. We who have survived have our ways.![]()
Our pharmacist will call the dr. office for Rx. renewals. Perhaps yours will do the same. I know those offices pay more attention to a pharmacist than they do to a plain old patient.Ya'all are wonderful.
Maybe this is telling on what my life's become, but I'm on pretty good terms with my pharmacist. I talked to him this morning and he told me to bring my bottle down and he'd give me a few day's worth. Bless him. I'm still going to be on the phone with the office as soon as they open, though. This is ridiculous. I worked in a doctor's office for 4 years and my refills were always, always done the same day. Yep, sometimes I had to get more assertive than I liked to get the boss's attention and have him authorize them. Yep, it was a pita to do. But it was my job to take care of those folks. I did a batch before the boss left for lunch, and the rest at the end of the day. Sometimes he'd sneak out for lunch and I'd miss him, boy would I have angry folks calling that afternoon! But, I've done this job and it ain't rocket science.
Anyone else so over the flies? It's turned cold here and they're literally sticking to everything.....![]()

We get prescriptions from Target. I had made an appointment two weeks before and was not able to get an appointment before the prescription ran out and was told that there would be no problem. Target faxed over a renewal request two times and the Medical group denied it. I had to call the Dr. Office three times to get the prescription filled. They filled it with the non generic so the cost went from nothing to a $20.00 copay. I had to call again to get it fixed. Our pharmacist will call the dr. office for Rx. renewals.
