fun stuff is I made a candy cane out of a standard light pole, had a curved top and red and white stripes. all the kids called our house for a few years the one with the candy cane. wired it off to building so it stood up. made a santa sack that had a full size round hay bale to hold shape. had ship and dock rope to tie top. made a sock monkey the size of a saquatch. everyone loved that one. made it out of coffee bean sacks. took 6 or 8. I was 8 ft tall. I believe in teaching my daughter all things are possible. and to use her imagination.
I cannot even imagine.....I'm in tears just thinking about it.....we all have life trails, don't mean to be a downer.
drop the sock monkey and step back.....you've had your fill of monkeys for the week......I love the idea of a sock monkey!
I have not started to decorate yet.
Our Son does not get home until the 23nd, so I am trying to get the house painted before then.
I will make one batch of cookies and some chex mix to welcome him home with, then He has to help with the rest.... after he wakes up.
I need to go get some Christmas lights before they are all gone.
We waited too long last year.
I think we have finally worn out the last ones. Only the green and yellows work any more.
As long as the ladders are out, I might have hubby put lights on the roof.
