I think working so many years engrained a love of Fridays into me. I still think "yea weekend", lol. How cool your son brought that up again!

Of course you need another project Rachel! Can't have you sitting on the couch, eating bon bons and watching the soap, lol. And whoever heard of having too many birds? Go for it, I say

Howdy.....lake was cold tonight....caught a mess of perch for dinner. Do it Rachel....why not.

I'm going to meet her Sunday and pick him up. He's a pretty solid blue, no copper. He's 10 months old, she says he's very eager to have his own ladies to cover

. So, I'll work on pulling the marans that are laying and set up a breeding pen. I think I should be good to set eggs for the Easter hatch a long from him, we'll just see how things go. They're older ladies and he may have to work a bit to entice them.

Although Lady and Gentleman may be a bit of a stretch for us

The little lake near us got stocked with trout this week, so we're taking the entire family and some friends out tomorrow to spend the day fishing and hanging out. Should be a good time! The fish aren't huge, but they usually put up a decent enough fight and make a meal. I've got sammich fixings and decided to bake two batches of cookies to go with us for The Locusts and Friends to eat. I hope the weather stays nice, we could use the outing.
