My leukemia's back.

Lazy garndener, will be praying all goes well for you also.

Hubby has check up dr appt today. My bronchitus is MUCH better. I thought it was pretty much gone, but last night was a lot of coughing. Still taking meds though, and doing so much better:D

Blooie, congrats on kicking the habit! You look better already! ;)

Kyler Bradley died of DIPG yesterday is the local news around here. Yesterday they took him off the ventilator at his home and lots of people went to their front yard and prayed. DIPG is so common these days. Kyler was only 10 years old. Please say an extra prayer for his family today. Have a good day.

Well, we're back to rain here in the wonderful PNW

. The last week has been so nice I was hoping it was here to stay. Not so much.

Lg, how's the eye doing?

Suzie, how's the recovery?

Everyone who's been sick, it's time to get over it

. Myself included....

Everyone who's hatching chicks, bring it on! I've got a few rounds in the incubator and have my eye on some hatching eggs.

I got a call yesterday from the unrelated donor search folks at the University. My donor has contacted them, wanting to be able to contact me. I'd been thinking about this since I've passed the one year mark. I still get all teary and emotional thinking about Sean. How do you thank someone for doing that? And for someone they don't even know? A plate of brownies just seems inadequate, you know? Hey, maybe he'd like some hatching eggs

I guess you say thanks Sean for having given you your life...that is reward enough for anyone so caring as to donate freely of themselves for others...I sincerely hope that you and Sean speak on the telephone or meet in person...that would be awesome for you both!

Well...my news is that at last my heparin injections are finished...I have 20 bruises one for each day! Tomorrow the nurse will be here to change my dressings for the last time...so progress on that score! I am still in a lot of pain but at least it is intermittent now...onwards and upwards for me, I'll hopefully soon be back down to see my animals, I am going stir crazy and my house is in danger of becoming clean as I spend an inordinate amount of my time finding tasks to do indoors...I am becoming DULL...because...I have a poster here that says....

Dull women have immaculate houses

I am hoping that next week I can restart my orencia injections for my RA...as my CRP count is increasing a lot at the moment...

Thanks to you all for your wonderful support through the adversity I faced before my op...my critics are silent now...

Take care everyone and get back on track to great health....that is an order!

Hey, Suzie, onwards and upwards for sure. The Princess keeps an orderly house, and she is FAR from dull.

Rachel, a big hug, a couple of tears, and a link to this thread will assure Sean of 'what a good thing' he has done.

Thanks for the reassurance...just because my house is clean..does not mean that I am dull...I will send the poster back to the person that sent it to me....!

Brilliant idea of sending a link to Sean ( he/she ) can read all of the posts after the wonderful donation of his/her contribution to give us our Rachel...well Our Nurse Rachel to give her the title that she now has..."Sean" has given us ALL so much...the most amazing gift...Rachel!

Amen to that count. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Sean. Suzie, so glad you are moving forward. Did someone ask about my eye? It was an interesting experience. I'm sure she saved the worst eye for last, she zapped me 5x, with the last one lifting me off my chair. More severe reaction this time, head ache, though not severe stayed with me till 10 AM today. Hate the prednisone drops as they leak through my eye and into the back of my mouth. They are super bitter, and make my tongue and palate sore. I'm trying to be more pro-active about rinsing after using the drops!

My neighbor had her eyelids lifted so she could see to drive. She wanted just one done at a time, but the doc said no, you will never have the second one done.
Sounds like your doctor saved the worse for last so you would not chicken out on the other as well.
I am glad it is over for you.
I am glad that the headaches should get better... and you saved your sight.
