Working from home.......sounds like a dream. Then there you are sitting at home, trying to think of the right words to type and you realize THIS NEEDS DONE, THAT NEEDS DONE, I CANT FORGET THIS, I'D BETTER DO THIS BEFORE I FORGET!!!!

I would never get my work done!

last time I worked from home I was diagnosed with leukemia

but up til that, it was a great gig.


Selling birds is going well

. I"m switching up my breeding pens tonight to have some Olive egger chicks instead of the pure bred Marans. Just time for a change. And it's time to do the chickie shuffle and move bigger birds into the main coop, move the next ages up a step.....etc.

Wow, new jobs, moving, surgeries....there's a lot going on here. Lots of prayers going up for you all.

Blooie, so sorry about your Little Warrior. I remember you talking about him on and off, so sorry he had to go through that. But he's much happier now, and I'm a firm believer that some good comes from things like this, weather we can see it right now or not.

You learn how to do it. I find myself "stopping the clock" quite often to do something around the house, check on the chickens, or whatever. I love the flexibility and no one cares if it takes me 6 hours to do 4 hours worth of work, or if I wake up early and work a few hours, run a bunch of errands, then work a few more hours later.

I love it and schedule work around weather, too. Garden in the morning, work inside when it's hot. Cold morning? Work inside until it warms up.

I hope I never have to go back to working set hours!!!

Well I had my glaucoma checked today.... Pretty much confirmed there is slight blindness occurring.... Found during my field of vision test... But he said my pressures were lower than last time. So he wants to recheck on July. And if pressures stay high he is going to put me on some eye drops.
How are things going people?
