My leukemia's back.

Good morning everyone

Looks like a chilly weekend coming up for us. We got about 1.5" of snow yesterday (thanks for sending it @Blooie lol) with more predicted.

Hope you all have a good day!

Dealing with a "No water" issue today
Frozen/burst pipes? Or something else? No water stinks.

Honey and I were talking about the well at the place we were looking at, and the possibility of trucking in water, potable vs non-potable. I pointed out, in this family we really didn't need much potable water---we all drink soda

. Just kidding, but it's kind of true. Well, the soda is going to get cut down during our next few months of reduced income. So, good thing we have a good well here on our little acre.

Trying to get my head around staying here for a while. I think something may have to give with the animals, we'll see. making no decisions about that right now.

And, resisting the urge to fire up the incubator. Not a good time! Good thing the Locusts don't ever read this, that's where I've been hiding treats the last month or so--right in plain sight, but they never look in there. They found pretty much all my other hiding places, little buggers. Speaking of which, I think there are chocolate chips to go in the banana bread I'm going to make. Rainy day today, makes me want to bake.

I hope everyone is having a warm, sunny day! And for those who aren't, well,..........fake it, I guess

Thought I'd share these with you all (I stole them off another thread, don't rat me out):

I have to make a trip to our grocery store today. The have the thunder and rain showers in the produce aisle. I hope they don't see this one and get any ideas for their other aisles!

I've done the freezer, but not in a decoy bag. I've got some stuff stashed in the drawers. I tried the big black enamel canning pot, they found that. I've tried the veggie crisper, old cooler chests in the garage, the troughs I used as brooders (empty, of course!), and various other places. Ice cream is the biggie. Kind of hard to hide that in a drawer, but when they find it they just eat right through it. I've gone to going down a few layers in the chest freezer and putting it there. Problem is, then I forget it's there
