My leukemia's back.

Good morning! You know, I've been thinking......could you tell? It's been a long, long time since I shared a hummingbird picture on here, and I didn't have as many hummers last year as I have in years past. They kinda wax and wane from year to year. And it seems like I was never set up when they did come. But I did get some last year that tickled the stuffin' outta me, and I never posted them for some dumb reason. I was just sitting at the table, blinds closed so the morning sun wouldn't glare on the computer screen, when I caught movement out of the corner of my eye, right on the feeder just outside the window under a blown glass hummingbird mobile Katie got me one year. If I'd opened the blinds he would have been gone. If I'd tried to take it with the blinds open the sun would have been too bright shining right into the camera. It was either grab the iPhone and shoot or miss it completely. So Rachel, I was thinking - maybe I didn't post them before because you didn't need them then. Maybe the lesson here is sometimes waiting for everything to fall into place perfectly is overrated, and we just have to accept less at times in order to really see things in a different light. And maybe I should just post the stoopid pictures and get another cup of tea. <sigh>

Um, no, you kinda sorta left us hanging on that, Phil!  But that's okay, you've had one or two things on your plate and I'm just glad to hear that it all went so well for her so far!!

We had just found out Friday I think... So I didn't mean to keep it from you and it wasn't for long. And thanks. :hugs
Phil, glad that cardiac testing was normal.  I hope they don't let this drop until they find the cause.  Keep at them.  PM x 2.
I'm not sure about what tests she's had. It still has to have. But when I find more of I'll let you know.
:hugs

Good thoughts and photos, Blooie!
Guess who was also sick at the same time...a coworker! Definitely adding more sanitizer to my afternoon routine! Usually wash at least 2-3 times in the 3 hours and sanitizer when i get in my car but today I left a bottle there. Going to stash it where I can get to it readily but won't endanger anyone like in a locked closet.
Anyone heard from LG or Suzie lately??

Blooie, I love the shadow pics!

You were so wonderful about posting those hummer pics while I was so ill. I'll always remember those, they'd lift my spirits, being stuck in that motel room in gloomy Portland.

Honey's new truck is having fuel pump issues.....$$, of course.

Echo finally got his long promised car from his dad. We've got it down at the shop, seeing what needs to be done.

hb--I keep hand sanitizer everywhere! I buy the little bottles and keep them in my bag, the van, etc. And we have industrial sized bottles at home. A vendor that visited work had cute little marker sized spray dispensers, I picked up several. Sitting in front of me on the computer desk are 4 bottles from Honey's work

. Flashlights, knives and hand sanitizers, seem to be our things.

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better, every day should improve now. And the retreat sounds lovely! Too bad you couldn't get more out of it, but maybe your husband needed it more?

Honey and I were looking at our goats yesterday. We don't think Daisy is pregnant

. Roany looks it, but Daisy had no belly to speak of. She's never looked the hardiest, so who knows. If Roany has does, we may sell Daisy this summer. Of course, some depends on where we are living. Some places here could support a decent size herd!

Glad you all liked the photos.....I should have just chosen one but his little shadow was so interesting in the different spots at the feeder I couldn't decide. It was just one of those less-than-perfect-moments that turned out to be just what I never knew I always wanted!

Rachel, maybe you guys should build a cart and use the goats and the horses to get around. Your luck with cars is kinda sorta on the downswing at the moment. <sigh> I feel so bad for you.....
