My leukemia's back.

Hey, Phil, or anyone else... Do you know how to get the Salmon smell out of the house?? I dehydrated/broiled 5 lbs of Salmon skin last night! The dogs were really drooling and I kept having to tell my own family to lay off the skins as they were for the dog treats! LOL. They said it was great stuff! Kinda like pork rinds or chichurras. They ate as much as the dogs did!!

Didn't want to tell them a couple of those skins were taken fresh out of the clean trash as the rest were clean as the chef at my work was kind enough to put them onto plastic wrap.

hb--I'm a firm believer "what they don't know doesn't hurt them"

No help on the smell, sorry.

Blooie--the funny thing is, MY car runs just fine! it's everyone ELSE'S vehicle that keeps having issues.....and MY van gets taken. Cause I'm lowest on the totem pole, apparently

Oh well, I don't want to leave the house anyway.

Oh wait, I want to move. That involves leaving the house.

but once I got to the new place, I wouldn't want to leave it! Complicated, right?

I need to to an overnight oximetry study tonight, where you wear the little oxygen monitor while you sleep. They're thinking I may need a CPAP. I always said I'd never be able to tolerate those, but something's got to give so I guess we'll see. They can't do the full sleep study until May, though. I'd sure take something that's going to help with more energy during the day, I'm still so draggy and feel I could just sit most of the day, interrupted by long bouts of napping. Not quite how I want to spend my days!

Try setting out some bowls of vinegar around your kitchen area, it helps.

Morning everyone!

Rainy and house bound...sounds like a cooking or baking day! I've got chicken broth and need to figure out a soup to make. I may pre-cook some rice to make fried rice later. I pulled out a loaf of quick bread from the freezer so we don't need muffins or anything like that. I have ground beef thawed, was thinking tacos for dinner.

Baked brownies last night. Well, had Sugar Monkey make them. Used the mix, a duck egg instead of a chicken egg, replaced with water with coffee, and baked the 7 x 11 pan for only 35 minutes--the box said 48-53. The middle was a bit soupy, but apparently no one really minded cause they were all gone when I got up this morning

Beautiful day here - temperatures in the mid 60's. Rapid drop predicted with 8 - 10 " of snow and temps in the 20's for tomorrow.

We got up to 39 today. 19 with freezing rain this morning. Supposed to get down to minus digits for next 2 - 3 days with snow storm tomorrow. This has been the craziest winter with the wildest temp swings I've ever seen.
