Beautiful hummingbird LG! What species is that?

I have no idea, but our friend @Blooie could tell you. She keeps feeders out all season, and has become quite adept at photographing them. All we have here is the Ruby Throated. Probably that's all you have also.

exquisite hummers. We don't get the fancy ones but, it's still nice to see them, they love
our invasive rose of sharon plants. Now I realize why everyone around here has them.
They sure do make a hedge in a hurry. I've heard they have sterile new plants but, they are too tender for our climate. Darn!!

DD, yep, your sister was right about hummingbird moths. We used to see them when we lived in north FL...they may be here too but we don't have much in the way of flowers so maybe that's why I haven't noticed any.
