My leukemia's back.

I agree with you on the insulated work gloves for women, what's up with that?

I say the women of the world should revolt. Perhaps we should refuse to do any work of any kind until appropriate attire and tools are provided for us.

Leather gloves that actually fit. Wide enough through the palm, with appropriate length fingers, not fingers on the gloves that are an inch too long!!! Give us real leather, on palm, fingers, and back of glove. Those cutesy little printed cotton garden gloves... get real!

Women get cold hands too. And women work outside. Give me an honest to goodness pair of insulated leather gloves that FIT!

Work boots: real leather, with a real tread. If I want a real boot, I have to buy a man's boot. Not such a bad thing, but it's often impossible to find a man's boot in my shoe size. I really am too old for Spider man or Ninja Turtles.

Power tools??? Let's see some that are sized for the smaller hand, but still have full power. PUHLEEZE!!! Do away with the cutesy little tool kits with cheap imitation tools. Pink??? Does casting the tool in pink plastic suddenly make it worth more, or work better?

Yes, the main reason i hate husbands reciprocating saw is i really have a hard time pressing all the buttons i need to make it work! My hands are not tiny, so i would hate to be petite and try it!

Agreed. The tools are just too bulky for the average female hand. And the placement of the buttons. A night mare! Not to mention, the difficulty of being short, and having about 40% less muscle power. Now... xplain to me how to generate enough power to manage the pull cord to overcome the compression on a lot of tools that require a pull cord. Hubby bought me a Stihl chain saw, b/c it was the ONLY one that I am capable of starting.

Have you tried the electric ones? Hubby likes those as well as the gas. I think i prefer the electric.

Seems like a lot of products geared toward woman are of shoddy quality but, they are PINK so you know they're made for women, they usually cost more too. LLB Bean does that with women's outerwear etc.especially, as does some of Lands End. When possible I buy the men's version and get extra details for the $$$.
