Well, they couldn't get any fluid with my latest stabbing/needle aspiration. Seems like the pockets are turning into scar tissue. It was interesting to watch the screen as the needle was in there - I could feel the tugging and watch how the needle just wouldn't advance into the space. Guess I should be proud of how tough my scar tissue is, right? Probably could deflect bullets.

Anyways, now on to fight the swelling. At least there didn't seem to be signs of infection, just lots of surrounding inflammation. We'll see what my onc says on Thursday.

Hope hubby is not in too much pain and that he tolerates the rest of the treatments without more issues.

Today is the calm before the storm. We are scheduled for a major blizzard tomorrow. I've heard 10 - 15" plus scattered high wind squalls like the storm that put many in the state out of power for multiple days in October. The winds knocked down an incredible amount of trees, snapping whole yards full of conifers like tooth picks. Add that to 15" of snow, and we could see some major damage. As it stands right now, the school systems are still planning for 1/2 day of school tomorrow. I'm going to urge my DD to keep her kids home from school. It seems senseless to do the 1/2 day in light of the predicted fury of this storm.

We're getting hammered quite a bit here lately too..... Finally have enough snow to bank around the house.
Theres a couple feet on the ground now....

We are getting snow - like hurricanes in Hartford, Hereford and Hampshire, a thing that hardly ever happens. 3 or so inches so far, on top of at least a half-inch of sleet and ice. This was forecast, so road crews were out putting down a de-icing spray before it started. Blustery wind, too - anybody that doesn't have a serious, almost life-or-death need to be on the road is hunkering down at home tonight.

Due to extreme weather patterns and below normal temperatures, Walmart administrators are now advising customers to wear 2 pair of pajamas when shopping.

It is down to 31 degrees outside, with 4 mph wind. That may happen everywhere else, but it's very UN-Central Florida type weather. They're saying it will be in the high 20's tomorrow night. Brrrrrrr!

Yep, looking pretty ugly for the east coast and very unusual for the southern areas of it.

Actually, it looks kinda pretty, if you don't have to go out in it. Some of the major roads around here have been closed after multiple accidents.
