Another good day at radiation. Doing the count down, Wednesday is the last day. The day before our daughters birthday. As she puts it best birthday gift ever .So I m doing the happy dance and so is hubby. He'll get a completion certificate ,& ring the bell of victory .

Thank you everyone, February 2nd we see the surgeon. Hopefully hubby will get the ok to return to work. Most importantly he wants the trach and peg tube removed. That's a slow process, however hopefully the worst is behind us

It's up to 31 degrees outside with 4 mph wind. That may happen everywhere else, but it's very UN-northern Wyoming type weather. They're saying it will be in the high 20s tomorrow night. YAYYYY!!!

Ah, I have such soft spot for all things hummingbird! Is is summer yet? I miss mine!

I didn't have anywhere near as many this year as usual....... Hopefully next year is better.

Keep your chins up, even as you keep your shins covered! If what we have today follows the pattern, warmer, sunnier days are coming to you! We went from 12 below zero to 27 so far this morning, exactly one week apart - very little wind, and the skies are abundant with sunshine!

Shoot, LG - tell that to Ken. I can't even tell you the risks we've sometimes taken just because he gave his word that he'd be somewhere for a function, on time and ready to go. Snowy mountains, (we ran into the side of the mountain once) driving for hours on end in driving snow or rain...he's like the poster child for "if I said I'd be there, I'll be there." More than once we got there and they didn't even have enough others so that they could open lodge. Just good old Ken and his trusty sidekick, Diane! <sigh>

I'm the same way....I drove into town yesterday...... When my wife told someone I went to the store in Marquettes they said "on those crappy roads"....... My wife then told her imatating my voice "I drove back and forth to Marquette for 30 , years everyday regardless of how bad the roads were.....blah blah blah"
The Lady laughed...... And I didn't think they were that bad ....
