Been catching lots..... Ton of smelt.... They are these small fish that you fry up like French fries.....

Picking up a bunch of coho Salmon too!
Love this time of year...... Before the mud season.

OK, I have to ask - are the Coho salmon the same as the silver (aka coho) salmon that are caught in Alaska? How big do they get? And smelt - how big are they? Every time I look at your pictures, I think you have a pile of minnows on the snow.

Hmmmm, sounds like the start of an AI (artificial intelligence) revolution.
1. Roomba, and iRobot are using gps to map a complete diagram of their homes, and sending it to google.
2. Alexa, the Amazon Echo device, has been in the news lately. It's randomly turning on, and laughing at people. No one knows why, if that's all it's doing, or how to fix it.
3. BYC is putting member's posts on whatever thread it wants too.

It's all Zuckerberg's fault.....

OK, I have to ask - are the Coho salmon the same as the silver (aka coho) salmon that are caught in Alaska? How big do they get? And smelt - how big are they? Every time I look at your pictures, I think you have a pile of minnows on the snow.

Those are smelt...... They are just small French fries....... Yummy though.
There is a small coho there..... It is a "Jack" it immature Salmon.
Yes they are they same as the ones they catch in Alaska.
But through the ice we only catch the smaller jacks.
When they ran the the fall they are bigger.
But they still only get about 5 pounds or so.
Sometimes bigger..... But they don't reach the size of a ocean run fish the great lakes don't have the amount of forage and space the Pacific does...... But we do get some nice Chinook Salmon here..... They get up to 35 pounds still not as big as their ocean run counter parts.......

@Bunnylady, a LOT of people are saying that too. That their devices ARE listening. They say things, and they get spam in their email about the topic of their discussion, the next time they go online their browser tries directing them to a compeitor's page, or they get pop ups trying to direct them to a competitor. Oh, and their FB ads tend to be about their topic of discussion too.

We don't have Alexa, but Dh says the same thing happens when he uses google voice.

Happens on my phone too!!!!
My new Kindle fire came with Alexa already installed....
