My leukemia's back.

Sheesh, I don't look as good alive as that plant looks "dead"!

Good morning, all. Today will be catch-up day for all the stuff that I didn't do yesterday. But I feel great, no ill effects from the endoscopy, biopsies and dilation at all. One of the simplest things I've ever had done! I was a little tired and groggy when we first got home, but we got slammed with a first class blizzard about an hour after we got here so just lollygagging around fit the mood of the day anyway.

Hope everyone is feeling good and ready to take on the day!

I've had this amaryllis for about 5 years now. It ALWAYS blooms. The bulb is huge, and it's time to transplant it. There is an area by one of my walkways that the lighting is correct, and it should thrive. Hopefully, in a couple years, I'll have a nice bed of them. I did that at a place I lived at when I was a kid, and it was beautiful when they all bloomed.

Dh, and one of our neighbors who is his cohort, bugged me all summer to throw out my dead plant. I told them it was alive, it just looked dead, and to leave it alone. Here's my dead plant.

Beautiful! It's snowing here, so my world outside is black and white. That splash of color was what I needed today!

Glad things went well for you yesterday, and that the blizzard hit after you got home!
