Thank you so much, @Cynthia12 An unexpected surprise on a tough day. Had to put one of my hens down due to Ocular Marek's. She as 99% blind and not eating. It was number 19 or 20 that I have lost to Marek's and a hard one as I had been hand feeding her for weeks and had grown fond of her. It's always the sweet, gentle ones.

So your banner was very uplifting for me. Thank you. I truly needed that.

I like that idea too LG. A way of honoring Rachel's contribution to the community at large and the members on this thread in particular.

Also, with a name like that, we wouldn't see the occasional stray person dropping in not knowing Rachel's leukemia battle is over.
 
So, shall we put it to a vote? Open for more suggestions, and contact the regular contributors to be sure all have an input:

Leave title the same vs. change it? And if we change it, what do we change it to?

? to moderators, would it be possible to put a little note at the very beginning of the thread as a kind of update, to let folks know? I wouldn't want to wipe out the history of this thread, cause there's a lot here, but I think it might be nice to let the casual thread searcher know that the thread has evolved past the initial leukemia issue.
 
I like it. I was just thinking of adding something, to let others know this is here for them if needed. Team Rachel welcomes you...Rachel's Legacy invites you in...something in that order. There are so many out there that I know would benefit from this thread if they knew about it. Know what I said to my husband while I was waiting and waiting in the the ER? I told him that I will now have a lot of prayers going out for me, now that I posted and asked for them, on yes, BYC, a chicken forum! One of the largest forums out there. I can't remember how I stumbled into this thread. But it was by accident. Found myself, catching up pretty quick. Then I noticed others asking for prayers and thoughts. ..... "Prayers and thoughts here with Rachel's Legacy" ? ? ... Someone can word it better than I can, maybe see where I was going with it when I suggested a change.
