Oh... so that also means that my dad will not be at the ceremony in July..

and my mom isn't even sure if she can come either. Even 1 night away she thinks might be too much.

We are starting to get invitations for grandchildrens graduations. Won't be able to make it to a lot of them. Some are too far away.

The pulmonary specialist called. Said she bumped the number up a few numbers to start me out at night. She did that there! Glad I didn't need to go in, they are 3 cities over. Said not to feel bad if I need to come in to try yet again another mask. Says that's the hardest part of getting things settled with a C Pap. Her husband tried 6 until he got the right one. Said to try this machine out for another week with this new setting. My readings were showing the machine was working at a 9 most of the time, and will go down when not needed. Again...mask? But, if I keep having problems like this, I will get a new machine. Ok, hope this works.

Nope, the fancy shindig is going to be in Portland. Spouse and I and all but 1 kid can make it.

A friend of mine will be there, but he is head dude in charge of stuff so will be too busy to set up or figure out taping. He did say though that at least his 2 younger kids will be there (he has 3, not sure where his eldest will be). He will make his kids video everything. He said he had something that recorded well. His 2nd is a girl and I think as I remember kind of artsy, so I think she will do a good job.

I had originally planned on going down to see my mom in Texas this summer. But this is so much of a whoha, I just don't think I can manage or afford another trip.

Alaskan, would it be possible to video tape the ceremony for your son, so you can play it back for your mom to see?

yep, planning on it. My mom can maybe make it though... but my dad is still semi-coherent. So I really want it so someone can show him the video.

My phone is so old now, indoor shots or video are just bad.

Got the call just now.... Bipap machine appointment. They will teach me how to use it and clean it.... Instruction is an hour.... I am so excited....

Oh and seven sessions left of Radiation to do..... yay. Have had three accidents now two in the car and one in the garage.... Bladder. It was a case Cant wait so might as well embrace the horror.... LOL. Juggling food intake and Immodium along with keeping hydrated then that last moment blasting myself with enough water to fill my bladder for the Treatment. Full bladder protects my small intestine I found out.....

So after radiation the side effects continue for several weeks at best.... Up to a couple of years.

Prayers for all. Cynthia, the C-Pap must be frustrating. Hugs to you Al. A lot on your plate with sick Dad, and other family issues. Deb, hang in there. So close to the finish line.

DD, my hubby has been on the Insulin pump for years, after total pancreatectomy. Recently, having issues with absorption due to scar tissue. I had a hard time talking him into going on the pump in the first place. Now, equally hard time trying to get him to go back to the needle for a while to give his "sites" a break from the pump use. It's a pain when his insurance changes every year, he has to change suppliers for his pump supplies. Some vendors are not so good, and every now and then he gets a shipment of defective "sets".
