My leukemia's back.

Sour, I will lift Jennifer up to the throne room. Prayer that she will be surrounded with love, that her medical team will treat her with knowledge and compassion, that her parents will be blessed with the strength they need at this time. And, of course healing for Jennifer. Thanksgiving that she is one of the blessed children to be adopted out of China.

I have 2 such girls in my life: A special niece, now 15 y.o. who was adopted at 15 mo., and our Youth Pastor's dtr. who came to US a little over a year ago: Spunky 12 y.o. who has severe leg and spinal deformities. She is blessed with a "can do" attitude, keen wit, and has fit into her family very well. She has already had 2 corrective surgeries.

You beat me to it @perchie.girl, I was going to say "It is Tuesday, Perchie's last radiation day!!!" Glad you have gotten to the end of that tunnel.

Still having problems with C Pap mask. Makes the third one. He said he would call me Tuesday to see how I did. Wish I had good news. Bruce, was it you that said you were awake more because of adjusting the thing? Yep. What's this dentist thing you are talking about? Is it for folks that snore?
Snoring AND apnea, mine is because of my apnea. This is the one I just got:
http://www.airwaylabs.com/pdf/dreamTAP_Patient_Instructions_final.pdf

The little hole in the center of the bottom piece has a tiny Allen screw in it, turning it moves the lower plate, and thus your lower jaw, forward or backward because the hook is connected to the wire in the top plate. More forward opens your throat more. This one comes with 3 hooks so you can go all the way from 'barely forward' to 'WHOA' is that pulling my jaw. I'm about center on the mid length hook.

The TAP 2 lasted me 10 years though in reality I should have replaced it a year earlier.

I rang the bell reallly loud too.....

Now to wean myself off Immodium...

deb

probably need to do that slow. ... maybe wait 3 days to do any reduction.

It will take a bit for your poor abused bowels to recover.

I know for my celiac child... it takes 6 weeks.

I hope the new mask works better!
Me too. The "problem" with the oral device is they have to make it with molds from your teeth so they are very personalized. Can't just try it cheap by using a mask and a machine and then try a different mask and a different one. BUT I would surely ask the sleep people or the ENT if they think an oral device would work in "your" (as in 'applies to everyone with apnea or snoring problems') case.
