My dad is dying this week.... trying to get my million animals squared away...


so that the kids and I can fly down....

I haven't bought tickets yet... I have to get the animals taken care of first

lots of stuff to organize.

My heart hurts for you and your family. I hope all goes well and everything turns out alright. Stuff like that can really try to break you down, but you have to keep being strong! God is listening ♡

Yeah I used to get shingles a lot.... It was the first symptom of my leukemia.
Then when my immune system was rebuilding I got them a lot.
Then one day they just went away. (Knock on wood...)

Once was WAY more than enough times for me. Most painful disease I've ever had.

My dad is dying this week....

Its been a long, tough road for him and the entire family

@Alaskan, thinking of you. I've been through this with my parents and the Princess's. Even when you know it is for the best and think that you are ready --- you're not. Good luck with the preparations and traveling.

Today I miss my Dad, but the thought of him gives me a smile.

Talked to son, and Jenny is responding. They have ruled out meningitis - good thing. She is deaf in her left ear, and they are not certain why or if it will be permanent. My son is a good father and real man in the way he is dealing with this. Once again I have to let him know how proud I am to be his Dad.

They have to find out if the hearing loss is functional or neurological.

Could it be because of shingles? Nerves are impaired in shingles

Ron, could be - they just aren't sure of a heck of a lot. I have discovered over the years that medicine is not always an exact science.

Jenny is back in the hospital. Not certain what is going on. She is suffering extreme nausea and neurological symptoms. They have put her back on IV antiviral drugs. Color me extremely scared. I have to appear strong for the Princess because this is really tearing her up. Please pray for all of us.

Heavenly Father, we lift Jenny up to you. I pray that you will touch her with your healing hand. That you will give her care givers wisdom and compassion as they tend to her needs. Father, I pray that you will bring healing to her, and comfort in great measure. I pray for her family, that they would lean on You for strength and comfort.

Father, we lift Alaskan and family up to you. Loosing a loved one is never easy, even when that loss is expected. I pray that you would go before every member of the family, as they make arrangements to draw together to comfort each other during this time. I pray for comfort and peace for the dad, and pray that this family will be comforted and supported as they go through the grieving process of loosing a beloved family member. I pray that in time, you will replace the tears with fond memories and smiles.
