My leukemia's back.

Glad to be back! Missed you all...I am fine, just tired but I guess that comes with old age...ha ha. So hope life is treating you well, I did post yesterday that I only had 22 chickens of the original 48 but that number was reduced overnight as one of my old girls was dead in a nesting box this morning!
It might be that you are busier than last year because the place is awesome!
 
The thought of keeping up 21 acres, and animals makes me tired, let alone having to actually do all the work. All across the country, I'm reading that this year's weather is unusual too, which isn't helping things one bit.
 
One of the dogs decided to play with a viper...bad move, she swelled up around her mouth and throat, the Vet was amazed that she could still eat when she was offered a biscuit at the surgery. Holly was lucky as four cows died that same week after being bitten by vipers. This place is really dysfunctional farm!

I am happy to hear that the Dog is ok! Were the cows yours?
