My leukemia's back.

I decided today that I didn't want to waste the coals that were burning, so I got out some meats to grill. Of course, Dh had dumped everything from the grill, onto the firepit. I fussed about it. He later asked Dd if she thought I was serious about grilling more meats. Dd told him I was very serious, and he needed to start leaving my grill alone. Dh went, and cut more wood into better sized chunks for me. He came in, and told me he had watched Dd lay the fire last night, and had done it exactly as she had. He handed me the charcoal lighter. I told him to put up the charcoal lighter, and I'd know if he had laid it correctly in a minute. I took a lighter out, and lit the fire. Yup, he laid it right. Started right up, and kept going.

In a couple hours, I'll be cooking chicken, steaks, and sausages. The stuff I am going to put up for later, I'll cook about 3/4 of the way done, so it's not overdone when I take it out to reheat it. Yay, another night that I can enjoy sitting outside by the fire.

Sounds good!

I am making a new recipe--French onion soup with cauliflower instead of croutons

I cooked at least 3 meals worth of meats. I barely have leftovers. The baby ate 3 of the sausages, and a small piece of steak. The boy ate two chicken breasts. The middle girl ate two chicken breasts, a sausage, and a half a steak. The adults pigged out too. They did not eat many veggies, or potatoes. It's a good thing I decided to cook so much.

Ok... Now I have it.... The Squirrel Distraction.... syndrom.... Used to happen when I saw real cowboys....

Good Morning Team Rachel!

@perchie.girl That is a cool picture, I like cowboys too. Cheyenne Frontier days was awesome! A whole week with lots of cowboys wandering the streets! lol
Something about a man in cowboy boots

I am trying to remember the title to the Louis Lamour movie where the lady in a little cabin out in the middle of nowhere started making donuts and all the cowboys in the area started to make excuses to go visit...
