My leukemia's back.

So glad I don't have a cat!

Good morning Team Rachel. I hope everyone has a blessed day!

We took the grands to a local church event yesterday. Everything was free, except the food. It was wonderful.

One of the things they had set up:

There is a pvc track, and the big plastic pipes stay on the track. There is a post at each end to stop the pipe. The kids get in, and race it down, and back.

Brilliant idea

Got 5, one just like that. She sits on my chest or shoulder and pats my face until I wake up. Of course, if I don't wake up right away, the little needle points come out and tap tap tap. I've tried covering up my head with my arm. Little gray kitty foot starts burrowing in until she finds me and tap tap tap. She doesn't want me to get up and feed her. All she wants to do is say 'hi mom! You still breathing? Good! Pet me!' She gets really weird. Vet thinks she had a little ovarian tissue left in her when she was spayed so she goes into these attention demanding false heats where she wants all of my attention and humps stuffed animals. If she wasn't so danged cute she would be obnoxious.

Then there is our diabetic kitty who eats the special food that we have to set down and pick up every time he wants to eat. He lets us know at the top of his lungs when he is hungry. He's half Siamese so he has good lungs. The longer you make him wait, the louder he gets until you cave and give him his food.

Yes cats can be a real trip.

Hi everyone!

Our first cat who didn't much like me and whom I didn't much like would do that to me when she wanted to go out during the night - almost every night. She lived to be 21. :barnie

When she became old and incontinent and turned the entire house into a litter box we had a family vote on euthanasia. I was the sole vote to save her. Son abstained, and daughter and the Princess voted to off Raisin. (It was the correct vote.)

Two of the cats and 3 of the dogs are good at getting us up during the night. What's funny is that we have a brother and sister pair and the brother wakes DH up and lets him know that his sister has to go out. Usually somewhere around 3 AM.

The little Gray cat's brother is good at jumping on the bed and laying on me. Wouldn't be so bad but his sister weighs barely 8 pounds and he weighs 18 and looks like a mini mountain lion. Kinda discerning to wake up and see these two big yellow cat eyes just watching you while you sleep.
