I went to the oncologist today. She ordered my usual set of scans, and they drew blood. She did re-up all my medications for another year. It's been a year now with no new activity. Yay!!!

Thanks everyone. Words are failing me right now, but it was an overwhelming feeling of joy to see all your comments. Knowing you guys are really rooting for me touches me deeply.

Oh, what a relief!! You're right, it seems like in times of trouble, Rachel's Waiting Room is the place for us to congregate and watch for news! Sometimes I think the Good Lord gets all of our prayers at once and says, "Oh, man! Here they come again. I'm just gonna do what they want so they'll quit pestering me for awhile!" LOL No power on earth like mass prayer, and we have that DOWN!

Congrats on the great report card, @getaclue ! I am sure that is a great relief for you.

I had my checkup yesterday - they called it the one year recheck after cancer diagnosis, it was closer to 10 months, but what the hey, close enough. Diagnosis - Normal/Benign (Benign is the scar tissue from the lumpectomy). I didn't realize how stressed I was about the check up until I was in the elevator leaving the Dr.s office and it suddenly released from my shoulders/neck area.
So, even the med techs say I am normal and harmless!

Score another one for Team Rachel! Yayyy, Wyo!!!

NO chocolate for me, thanks. I'd rather eat dirt! But I will party if someone has a spare margarita that's not doing anything! The news from Wyo and Clue sure does call for a party!

Phil how does the judge handle with either load while fired? and does the 410 give much of a kick? does it come with much choice of the load of the shells?

No they pretty much kick about the same..... You can pretty much fire any 410 round..... But they make special home defense rounds.
I have #3 buck shot in it now.... No need for 45 long colts in the house.... Too easy to miss as well.
I'd use bird shot.... But if anyone was to break in it would most likely be a meth addict as no one else around her would do something like that.... And someone on meth might be too hopped up to stop with birdshot

We had snow yesterday, were supposed to get more overnight and today but I guess not. Unless you count the blowing snow. I had cleared the drive/parking area yesterday so DW and DD could get in. Did a little shoveling this AM so they could get out and later fired up the tractor and cleared the whole area again around noon.


Shame you have to live like that. Maybe the AHole will blow himself up.


2017 was bad, 2018 made 2017 look fairly light. Sure hope 2019 IS light.
