My leukemia's back.

The bedside commode is on it's way. She gets sponge bathed, and there is a foam my cousin was talking about that she uses. As for her hair, she leans her head forward in the sink, and they have a sprayer. Her hair is short, so it's not difficult.
Regardless with the title of this thread it's good to have all info out there for others who stumble upon these posts that may help them out sometime in the future.

Eh...

Stressing over eldest.

Kid is getting kicked out of his housing (he thought he could stay in the dorm for the rest of the year, even though he canceled his classes... he can't)... has 2 days left to figure out where he is going. He has 1 person lined up to take him short term... but would like a stable place close enough to campus to continue to use the campus library and maybe his meal plan.

I found him one place he could go to and work for room and board, but it is out of state...

he would really like to stay in Anchorage since he really likes the church there, big cathedral, he is learning lots, etc. Etc.

So far he has only called a few people to ask for a place to stay.... he did spend a bunch of time on campus trying to figure out how to bend rules etc and stay where he was... full bust on getting to stay on campus.

I told him to call EVERYONE at the 2 churches that he has attended there, and ask ALL of the people he can think of........ then ask them all a second time a day later in case anything else occurred to them.

Anyway... he is still calling now... only 6pm here...

Poor kid. :th

He was just starting to get his feet back under himself.... I think the break from classes was just what he needed..

:he

I hope something turns up for him quickly Al.

Al seems strange because if he dropped all his classes and is still being charged for them (and presumably his housing and meal plan etc) I wonder if someone in the state's education dept. can help? Because as long as he was not thrown out he's still their paying customer even if he isn't using what he paid for.
I ASSUME they will refund the housing, maybe the meal plan as well? I am not surprised they aren't letting him stay in the dorm. One of the requirements is that you must be a student at the school.

Depending on the school he may be able to get the tuition back as well. I think sometime about now is the last day at DD1's school where you can drop a class and get a refund.

Al, sorry DS1 felt he needed to drop his classes. That is a lot of stress he must be under to take that step.

I have a friend who has seizures about 2 times a year, and the last 4 have been when he is in the bathtub! He bangs around pretty good with the seizures so he needs to go to the hospital for evaluation after - concussion, sprains, etc. His house is a bi-level and due to the angles, the rescue cannot use the gurney to carry him out of the house. He usually walks out the front door and lays down for them to strap him down and take him away. He is not really totally aware of what is going on for a time afterwards, but he did manage to get underwear on the last couple of times before leaving the house.
:lau

Sad too though!
