Visits home were always a nice break when I was in college. Even though they usually involved doing my laundry - for free. lol
@bruceha2000 Hope the visit is good.

Sounds like she isn't a lot different than my DD1. She is coming home on break Saturday. We hear almost nothing from her other than she is really busy (so busy I had to look up flights and suggest something to her). We are worried that her permanent migraine is flaring and since we can't see her we don't know. DW was lamenting that last night. Said she's spent so many years being able to tell how DD was just by looking at her that she is going through withdrawal. No news is supposed to be good news and I hope it is. I'll see when I pick her up in Montreal at noon Saturday.
I think that if the restaurant bathrooms were that gross I would be making assumptions about the kitchen as well. Probably a good decision to not eat there. Some restaurants I won't eat at because I know at some point I will need to use the little girls room (just for me I'm sure) and I'm NOT going there!!!![]()
That won't be happening, laundry in the dorms at her school is free. DD1 needed a lot of quarters each year when she went to Beloit.Even though they usually involved doing my laundry - for free. lol
How are you doing with care giving for your DH?Good morning, Team Rachel. Saw son and his family yesterday. Now that she is no longer in college, Jenny's health is rapidly improving. Stress, uncontrolled, can kill..... SOUR........I get it. Have been reading how caregivers need to take care of themselves. It's true. Stress, is not a good thing for the body.
