My leukemia's back.

This is what I submitted for the contest. I baked 29 cookies. When I checked the next morning, 6 had been taken. Normally it's the grands that get into them, but this time it was Dh, and Dd that got into them. Yesterday, I noticed there were fewer cookies, but didn't really count them. I decorated a bunch, and the icing hadn't even dried good, when the grands came home from school, and each grabbed one. I mentioned that I needed a few to submit for a contest. Last night, after I took pictures, I still had about 10 cookies I was going to decorate differently. I got up this morning, got out the icing, opened the cookie container, and there were 4 1/2 cookies in it. Someone put half a cookie back. I am in the process of decorating the remaining 4 now (they're drying). No, I'm not even going to attempt decorating the 1/2 cookie.

Very nice decorations!

Ha! You need a hiding place for them

Your cookies are very cute!
I mixed up the cookie dough for cut-out cookies. It is still in the fridge 2 says later. I will roll and bake some tonight. My recipe makes around 6 dozen cookies - depending on the size of the cookie cutter it may be more or less than that number...

I guess I'll need some electric fencing around the next batch I make. Sheesh.

Yep... and maybe some razor wire ... except you don't want to hurt the grandkids ..

Hummmmm

Such a difficulty!

Great cookies by the way!

Very nice.

I'm thinking these need to be guarded.

I detect a severe lack of respect from others in your house. I guess next time you need to line them all up and say "DO NOT TOUCH THESE COOKIES UNLESS I HAND ONE TO YOU".

bruce, you detect right. I've thought about getting shock collars for them.
:thumbsup Do it. Use the vibrate function first and if they don't mind their manners, get them a little zap.

Of course that might get you in a bit of trouble but maybe you can buy off the cops with some of those nice cookies.
