@bobbi-j and @Alaskan, if I could do it so could the two of you. Now if claustrophobia is a problem opt for, "I want to be put out". That's what the Princess said when she had our son, or was it, "PUT ME OUT!"?

Claustrophobia is a problem, but I don't think it would be the biggest problem. The biggest problem would be someone messing with my eyeball.

You don't exactly see the needle, and you don't feel a thing. It's totally numb.

But do you know it's coming? They'd have to strap my head down to keep me from flinching. I go see my eye Dr. I let him do his job, but I don't like the idea of being present when someone is shaving off parts of my eyeball (or however they do it - they're still messing where I don't want them to).

Howdy guys.... Just been busy as heck.
This hip replacement had me do far behind and trying to get the garden in and all.
Seems everyone has something broken.
Went to the movies with the wife for my birthday..... Saw....."Godzilla King of Monsters"
It was good.... Was basically an old style Godzilla movie made with new specail effects.... Other than that I've not been online much trying to catch up with life.

But do you know it's coming? They'd have to strap my head down to keep me from flinching. I go see my eye Dr. I let him do his job, but I don't like the idea of being present when someone is shaving off parts of my eyeball (or however they do it - they're still messing where I don't want them to).

It is psychologically challenging. Which is why the post operative 'fog storm' freaked me. I think they put your head in a vise so that you can't move it. Seriously they do stabilize your head - physically that is.

Dang, sour. Your doctor didn't like you. Broke out the medieval torture devices for you. Put your head in a vise. Mine gave me a nice molded pillow, which prevented me from turning my head much, but it was very comfortable.

Blooie, it's not bad at all. One of the easiest surgeries you'll ever do. Go prepared with a list of a few things to think about to keep your mind busy, and focused on other things. It's quick too.

My peas are nearly ready. I still have to wait at least 5 days to pick any. I sprayed last night. They're getting eat up by something. I had sprayed last week (permethrin) during the morning, and that evening it rained. It washed the spray off, and it did nothing to help kill the bugs. Knowing it was going to rain, and peas have to be shelled, so the spray doesn't come into direct contact with the actual peas, I doubled the concentration. Sure enough, it rained some last night. The forecast is for rain again today, and tomorrow too. At first I was a little concerned I might have overdone things. Now, I'll be happy if enough stays on to do some good.

I'm sure they do that no matter how stoic one is. It wouldn't doo for you to move at the wrong time.
