I agree with the others regarding your ingenuity, and problem solving skills. My dad was like that. I hope you were able to pass on some of your skills to your son.

No my kids are clueless.... Except my daughter. They were never interested in fixing things. My oldest makes so much money he doesn't need to.
But making money isn't a bad deal either ...

Glad to hear it! That one does look to be on its last leg despite your clever repair. You are one super strong guy Phil. I wouldn't be doing any of that stuff if I had a broken hip!

I'm used to pain.... And unfortunately if it needs to get done I have to do it....

So is this scrap? Or is it simply a on farm farm truck? meaning it rarely goes more than a mile on pavement and is simply used on property?

It's a plow truck...I don't even think i have a title for it..... Never driven it on the road except once to the gas station.... But it never leaves our road.

When I was younger I always wanted an Irish wolfhound.
Now I'm more into wiener dogs.....
