My leukemia's back.

Yep. I know you know because you've also had a sister in Dialysis. You learn all about kidneys so you can try and understand.
It looks like glucosamin does not damage kidneys but hurts those in renal failure. So many things will hurt a kidney in renal failure!

Good morning! Stand by, Team Rachel....more drama in Blooie’s life. Happy to report that Steve’s surgery went a little better than expected....they were able to keep the stem that was in his arm and just replace the socket. He’ll go home to start recovery today. Lori took the week off work, and their kids will stop in frequently to check on him and help him. I told her to call if she needs extra full time help and we’d head backbthere.

On a sadder note, just got word late last night that they’ve put my sweet cousin Doug into ICU on life support for - and I kid you not - renal failure. He's doing exactly what Linda did that long May of 2017....life support, unconscious and non- responsive. It’s scary! You may remember that she suddenly just woke up, and was discharged from the hospital just a few days later, and the day before Mother’s Day she and Russ, Lori and Steve, and Ken and I went out for dinner! But we lost her a month later. So asking for prayers for this gentle soul. If he’s going to rally, I hope it’s long term. If he’s going to leave us, I pray it’s as peaceful as Linda’s was.
It is a mixed report for sure!

I hope your cousin recovers

My poor husband. If it isn't one thing it's another. Dr. had him come in for his yearly physical. We didn't need to be told that he's declining. It's sure hard to carry on a conversation with him, but I can figure it out most of the time. While there at the docs I reminded him that his last Dr was watching his prostate. ..that sounded funny...😁. Anyway, he did have the blood test last year..that's nice they check that way now days. Blood test again. It's doubled in size. 😔. Going in for an ultra sound this morning. If, he needs it removed, I need to ask if a block can be done instead of him going under anesthesia. I've learned that can bring a dramatic decline on in Alzheimer patients. Now, I haven't let my my mind go to the big C word too seriously. Of course it's come to mind, but where it's been enlarged for years, I'm thinking it's just that, and will probably need to be removed. I'm going to post this in a few places, because I know a lot of folks will offer up a prayer or two for us. I sure love you guys. 💜.
