My LGD Great Pyr Killed Chicken

The dog is still a puppy and learning. My bother used a shock collar on his dog. He first did the tone and when the dog didn't respond to the tone he did the vibrate. The dog still ignored him so then he did the shock and the dog responded immediately. He said he only had to shock it once or twice and then from then on there was no problem. It may not work that way with all dogs.

We are rural with several acres on a dead end road. There are a couple of GP's that roam on our property. None of the neighbors in my area know where they live. I have game cameras and get them on the cameras now and then.
