My male khaki duck is only a few months old and seems to have his first (and hopefully last) bumble foot, I know there are so many threads on it, but I'm new to this and it's all kinda overwhelming! I have read so many scary articles about surgery and even death if you let it go to long so I was hoping to get clarification! So far his bumble foot looks just like a lump with a puncture hole in the center (no scab yet.) I would really like to avoid surgery if possible, and have been researching antibiotics but can't seem to find a straight answer! Can someone please help me with a few antibiotics that could work to heal it? Or maybe even soaking it? Any/all info helps! Thank you!
